This September 15th weekend edition will be one of Paul’s occasional All Listener Favorites Editions, with every song (other than Featured Artist selections) introduced by listeners who recently phoned in when the Listener Favorite lines were open. You’ll find out why some of today’s top songs (and some old favorites, too) have such special meanings for listeners — and how those songs have touched their lives. Included on the second hour will be a special mini-countdown of the four most-requested songs during the recent Call-In.
And … his Featured Artist on this program is singer/songwriter Mark Bishop with some brand new songs from his “I Can Rejoice” CD. Listen as Mark tells you about songs of rejoicing, a song about renewing our joy, a song about “artifacts of faith” in heaven, and even a song about why Christians who have already gone on are still qualifying for additional rewards for spreading the Gospel. Mark is always interesting — and this visit is no exception!
NOTE: This week only … due to the live broadcast from the NQC, the Saturday broadcast will begin two hours earlier than usual … at 4 PM ET, 1 PM PT.

Plus, his Artist Spotlight guests will be the Songfellows, another legendary quartet founded back in 1954 in California and now based in Nashville. They’re all long-time singers and names you know: Bob Jones, Jr., Ed Hill, Rick Strickland and Brad Smith. Listen as they bring back some classic Southern Gospel quartet songs — plus a new one.
Paul’s Featured Artists for the weekend of 9/1 broadcast … Canton Junction, the exciting new quartet that’s an outgrowth of the music ministry at Pastor John Hagee’s Cornerstone Church in San Antonio, Texas. But, for a church quartet, it’s unusual in that you probably already know the names of the group’s members — Matt Hagee, Aaron Crabb, Michael Sykes and Tim Duncan. With that kind of lineup you know it has to be good. We’ll talk with all four members and hear five songs from their debut CD, including one that Aaron wrote.
On the weekend of August 25th … it’s Paul’s official Singing News Top 20 Countdown edition for the month, based this time on the song chart appearing in the September issue of Singing News magazine.
On the weekend of August 18th … Paul’s Featured Artist is singer/songwriter Sheri LaFontaine. He’ll talk with her about some of the songs on her current Something More CD — all songs that she wrote. But he’ll also chat with her about songs she’s written for other groups, such as the Whisnants, the Sisters and others, and you’ll hear those songs as well. And, you’ll hear the heart of Sheri has for musical ministry.
And, his Artist Spotlight guests on this program are the Torchmen from Ontario. He’ll chat with Mike Moran of the group and you’ll hear some of their latest songs. Mike will tell you what it’s like being a “Southern Gospel quartet” north of the border!
Plus … Sunday, August 19th, will be one of Paul’s thrice-yearly Listener Favorite Call-In opportunities. Listen for details, or
